- Indian Pueblo Cultural Center Community | Buffalo Design
Indian Pueblo Cultural Center Community Kitchen Originally this project was scheduled to be a stand-alone building just East of the Maker Space 2 project located on the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center campus. The IPCC asked us to re-design the interior of Maker Space 2 (which had not yet started construction) to host the commercial kitchen project. Along with the stakeholders, the design team has worked diligently to re-work the interiors to accommodate a space that will function as a hub for food service operations for the 19 Pueblos. Designed to accommodate a Farm-to-Table approach this facility will have capacity for “Rough Prep” and “High Volume Production”. There will also be multiple cooking lines for “Catering” and “Meal Preparation”. Along with a large demonstration Kitchen, this project should provide all the means necessary to facilitate any and all services for the cultural advancement, education, interpretation, and overall experience of native cooking and traditions.
