Kalie Matherly

INTERN ARCHITECT

​​Kalie's formative years were marked by an unwavering passion for the arts. This dedication to bringing novel ideas to life continued to drive her. In high school, her perception broadened significantly when she enrolled in her first Building Information Modeling (BIM) class, revealing the profound impact architecture could have on well-being and happiness through purposeful spatial design. This realization ignited a fervent zeal for the field within her. After a rigorous academic journey at university, Kalie embarked on a fulfilling career as an intern architect with the esteemed Buffalo Design Team. Fueled by innate curiosity and an unyielding thirst for knowledge, she wholeheartedly engages in every aspect of the design and construction process, constantly seeking to enhance her expertise.

Kalie's aspirations now focus on achieving licensure and becoming an exemplary leader and mentor, particularly for the next generation of accomplished women in architecture. Her mission is to guide and inspire these future professionals, fostering a diverse and dynamic community of architects that thrives on creativity and innovation.
