Chelsea Shendo DRAFTSPERSON | TECHNICIAN Chelsea Shendo, a highly skilled draftsperson and technician, has a decade of experience in drafting across various fields. She holds an Associate of Science in Architectural/Engineering Drafting Technology from Central New Mexico Community College. As an Indigenous New Mexican from the Jemez and Zuni Pueblos, Chelsea's commitment to giving back to Native communities through her work in infrastructure development is unwavering. Her career is dedicated to serving Native American communities in the Southwest, and her expertise in drafting plays a critical role in achieving that goal. Currently, Chelsea is part of the team at Buffalo Design, where she assists architects and intern architects in producing site plans, floor plans, and renderings for various significant projects. Her contributions include renovations of the White Mountain Apache Tribe’s gas station and tire shop and her involvement in the Hopi Tribal Housing Authority’s community building in Kykotsmovi Village. Chelsea is also part of the production team working on the historic renovation of the Paolo Soleri Amphitheatre at the Santa Fe Indian School, where she contributes to preserving its original design while adapting it to the school’s needs. Marc Gonzales PRINCIPAL | VICE PRESIDENT | CFO | ARCHITECT Since 2001, Marc has worked for several notable firms within the Albuquerque area completing projects of all types around the State of NM, from large scale high-rise condominium projects to administration buildings, from retail to restaurants, from community centers to schools, sports complex’s, museums, and judicial buildings. Over the last 24 years Marc has run the gambit of projects including everything from Public to Private and Government work. Marc’s contributions to architecture include multiple awards including AIA and NAIOP. Although born in Albuquerque, Marc grew up in Las Cruces. After 5 years at New Mexico State, Marc returned to Albuquerque and finished his degree in Architecture in 2003 where he was recognized with the UNM School of Architecture Design Award for his graduating class. Marc has never slowed in his development, and through vast work experience, has become a recognized leader in architectural design within the community and is acknowledged for his progressive design approach. Marc joined the Buffalo Design Architects team in 2016 and has since expanded his skills to include Native design concepts and Native cultural considerations as they apply to architecture.
