The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in architectural project management, design coordination, and technical production. Current architectural licensure in New Mexico is optional. All of our team members get to participate in all aspects of a project. We desire self-starters who need little oversight and can run with a project. Some limited travel may be required periodically throughout New Mexico. We are a dog-friendly office. Candidates must be able to manage projects of varying size and complexity as well as lead the design, documentation, and construction administration phases. Qualifications (required): A professional degree in architecture is preferred 5+ Years of Experience Able to manage multiple projects at one time Proficient in Revit, Bluebeam, MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite; proficiency in Lumion is a plus Qualifications (desired): Strong design and presentation skills desired Strong knowledge of construction is desired Responsibilities: Lead a team on all phases of the project, from programming through construction administration Manage and mentor project team; in-house, consultants, and engineers Prepare: programming documents, conceptual design, drawing production, write specifications, building code analysis, maintain meeting minutes, and coordinate with product reps Conduct presentations and participate in owner communication, and coordination Produce high-quality project documents including drawings and specifications OAC meetings, construction administration and site visits QA/QC Benefits: Competitive Salary 401K: Match up to 4% Healthcare: 75% paid by company (dental and vision are 100% covered by company) 80 hours PTO accrued annually, 64 ours of sick leave are front loaded annually Professional organization membership reimbursement and conference time off Buffalo Design Architects is a Native-Owned architectural firm in Albuquerque that specializes in a wide variety of Native and Non-Native projects. Upon entering the Casino, the focal point is the Player's Club, which sits adjacent to the Cashier's Area, serving as the heart of the Casino and a welcoming area for patrons. The design features a slim, curved soffit, a sculptured wall with monitors, and a receptionist's desk with a sleek, white phenolic countertop. Vibrant colors are introduced throughout the space, accentuated by specialty lighting and an LED color-changing wall wash, complemented by pendant lights over each station. Similar finishes were utilized in both the Bar and Patio addition and the Restroom renovations. Noteworthy features include custom routed front bar facades and custom-designed acrylic colored sphere light fixtures. This convenience store represents the future of the town. This will be one of the first of many improvements to the Whiteriver community. The convenience store has a variety of spaces for cold and hot, self-serve, food as well as 1,000 square feet of rentable space for a food vendor. The main interior space features clerestory windows that let in natural light throughout the day. This reduces the overall energy costs and consumption for artificial lighting. The exterior of the building is a mountain rustic style. This style is popular to this region. This style features gable roofs, heavy timber structures, stone, wood, and metal roofing.
