    Camel Rock Casino Bar Additions & Renovations < Back Camel Rock Casino Bar Additions & Renovations The Camel Rock Casino Bar Addition and Renovations project was successfully completed in 2016. Upon entering the Casino, the focal point is the Player's Club, which sits adjacent to the Cashier's Area, serving as the heart of the Casino and a welcoming area for patrons. The design features a slim, curved soffit, a sculptured wall with monitors, and a receptionist's desk with a sleek, white phenolic countertop. Vibrant colors are introduced throughout the space, accentuated by specialty lighting and an LED color-changing wall wash, complemented by pendant lights over each station. Similar finishes were utilized in both the Bar and Patio addition and the Restroom renovations. Noteworthy features include custom routed front bar facades and custom-designed acrylic colored sphere light fixtures. The Bar area incorporates a multi-functional stage, while the all-season patio boasts contemporary finishes, combining to create a warm, inviting, and contemporary theme throughout the space.     Indian Pueblo Cultural Center Security Annex < Back Indian Pueblo Cultural Center Security Annex The 19 Pueblos Owned Indian Pueblos Marketing Inc. a branch of the main organization. the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center approached buffalo design to plan and design a much-needed facility. This facility would ease some overcrowding and provide onsite facilities for two departments of the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, Property Development and Public Safety. Ongoing development of the 66 acres adjacent the existing IPCC Property steered this project. A 2,430 square feet building was developed to fit within a compact slice of property centrally located in the heart of the overall development. The buildings footprint was getting large and the need for overall view of the development push up a second story to the compact footprint. The modern Puebloan building houses open offices for security personnel, IT room for service of entire 66-acre development, break room, a high-tech (command) monitoring center and a small holding area for emergency situations on the first floor. The second floor has a conference room with coffee bar and offices for the Property Development Director and staff. The conference rooms. also opens to the perimeter balcony for views in each of the four directions.     Zuni Pueblo Masterplan < Back Zuni Pueblo Masterplan The Zuni Route 4 Master Plan responds to the pressing need for additional housing, driven by the requirements of Tribal members, present and future Pueblo employees, and the potential return of Tribal members to their ancestral land. This comprehensive initiative has a central goal of diversifying housing options, including single-family homes, townhomes, apartments, and mobile homes, all with a keen focus on supporting multi-generational living arrangements to foster family closeness. The Master Plan incorporates a detailed Land Use Plan that visually designates zones for single and multi-family residences, commercial areas, public safety facilities, daycare centers, parks, and open spaces. A well-integrated road and utility corridor system is proposed to ensure efficient vehicular and pedestrian access throughout the Master Plan area. Additionally, the plan envisions a trail system to promote non-motorized transportation, encouraging a healthier lifestyle among residents. Furthermore, the Master Plan outlines housing preferences, commercial development, and desired densities to serve and enrich the community. Recognizing the significance of water and sewer infrastructure, concurrent projects have been incorporated to ensure they align seamlessly with the Route 4 Master Plan's overarching vision.     4 Corner Master Plan < Back 4 Corner Master Plan Our office was contracted to master plan the 4-Corner area located on the corners of US HWY 285 and State Road 106 which can be found just south of Española NM. The (4) parcels cover an area of approximately 150 acres. Our task was to identify the marketing characteristics within the area, identify potential feasible uses, and then master plan the area to accommodate the current and potential growth of the community identified within the Marketing Study. Within the 4-Corners, we identified 11 potential zones which hosted over (44) pad buildings grossing a total of 866,200 square feet of construction potential and over 5,000 parking spaces.     Nambe Pueblo Teen Center < Back Nambe Pueblo Teen Center Amidst the challenges faced during the COVID-19 pandemic, our attention was drawn to a significant project in November 2020 – the creation of a dynamic Teen Center. The task of designing this facility presented numerous obstacles that demanded exploration through several iterations before reaching the final design. Throughout the process, the fluctuating construction costs necessitated constant vigilance and adaptability. We meticulously considered various materials, including wood, steel, metal building, and hybrid options, in order to achieve the most optimal outcome. The Teen Center project, with its unique purpose and youthful energy, stirred our team to approach it with utmost dedication and perseverance. As we navigated through the complexities, we found gratifying solutions that resulted in a predominantly wood hybrid design, perfectly tailored to meet the needs of the young community it will serve. In spite of the formidable challenges faced, the journey to create this Teen Center became a testament to our team's resilience and ingenuity. The final result is a space that promises to empower and inspire teenagers, providing them with a safe, vibrant, and welcoming environment to nurture their passions, creativity, and growth.     Navajo Technical Utility Authority Office Addition < Back Navajo Technical Utility Authority Office Addition The proposed project is a significant addition to the existing Navajo Tribal Utility Authority (NTUA) Building, aiming to enhance and expand its facilities. NTUA has entrusted us with the task of seamlessly integrating the new design with the existing architecture, providing much-needed administrative offices. Our design approach focuses on respecting and preserving the architectural heritage and cultural significance of the NTUA Building. We aim to create a cohesive extension that complements the original structure, maintaining visual continuity by using similar design language and materials. The new design thoughtfully addresses the functional requirements for additional administrative offices, ensuring efficient and organized spaces to meet the organization's evolving needs. Emphasizing a welcoming and inclusive environment, the expanded building maximizes natural light, ventilation, and spatial flow, fostering a productive atmosphere for staff and visitors. Beyond the practical aspects, the project emphasizes the cultural importance of community integration and preservation. We aim to honor Navajo heritage by thoughtfully integrating local art and design motifs into the new addition, creating a space that resonates with a sense of identity and pride. In summary, our proposal for the Navajo Tribal Utility Authority Building addition combines modern functionality with cultural sensitivity, creating a lasting legacy that meets present demands while preserving tradition for future generations.
